Gothenburg - Day 1 & 2. On Wednesday evening the train from Stockholm rolled in to Gothenburg Station and my friend William came to pick me up. The next day we had brunch at Egg & Milk and did a little window shopping before returning home to William where we had tea and I watched him being creative. Later the same day I took the tram to my friend Anna and we spent the evening watching my favourite documentary about my favourite Patti Smith.

Today I came back after spending five days in Gothenburg. On Sunday we went strolling around the botanic garden and I caught up with Matilda who was waiting by the rhododendron.

Seven years ago, and this spring so many of my friends have been there. But not me, not this spring, not now. But one day, I'll be back on the streets of Paris.

This reminds me of them...

A few weeks back it was time to finally sit outside and enjoy a drink for the first time this year. And yes, I am now one of those iPhoners who occasionally upload a hipstamatic-print.

Valborg 2011 in Uppsala; Breakfast by Fyrisån containing of champagne, baguettes, brie, chevré, strawberries and white-water rafting. The rest of the day can be summoned with Spice Girls, Veronica Maggio, Queen, kir, wine and dance, dance, dance. (Some photos taken by Anna, edited by me)

This weekend I took the train to Uppsala to celebrate Valborgsmässoafton in a very traditional way. On Friday, however, we started off by celebrating Kvalborg.

At 10.15 this morning I met up with my dear friend Jens who was waiting for me by the bridge over to Djurgården. The island was in full blossom, the hills were covered with wood- and blue-anemone amongst other spring-flowers. After hours of walking around the beautiful island we said goodbye and I took the tram to enjoy the cherry trees in Kungsträdgården. Lovely day!
