Cambodia: Siem Reap - day 1. After yet another bus ride we got to Siem Riep in the afternoon. After dumping our bags at the hostel we took a tuk-tuk to see a very cloudy sunset over Angkor Wat. Seeing it for the first time was amazing but it was about to get even more fantastic...

Cambodia: Phnom Penh - day 3. After spending a wonderful night out on the town we had a calm and tired last day in Phnom Penh. Anna, Anthony and myself went to the Russian Market before doing some sightseeing and meeting an elephant that was out walking. Afterwards we had a lovely dinner as it was our last night with our even lovelier Lisa.

Cambodia: Phnom Penh - day 2: After visiting S21 and Killing Fields, Lisa and Anna decided to have some beers and eat some spiders. Me and Anthony took a well needed nap before meeting Brent again later that night.

Cambodia: Phnom Penh - day 2. Together with our new found friend Anthony we decided to pay a visit to Tuol Sleng - S21, the old torture prison during the Khmer Rouge regime, and Killing Fields where thousands of people were killed during the genocide that took place. When I look at the pictures I took that day I still feel the same feeling as then, a crawling inside of me and a feeling of being sick. They are horrifying places, no doubt about that.

Vietnam: Saigon - day 1. Got to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) early in the morning. After having breakfast and watching Anna eat a strange fruit we went to the War Remnants Museum where we saw some horrifying photos from the Vietnam war that left us speechless. (Pic. 1 & 2 by Anna, edited by me.
Pic. 5 & 7 are photos that were part of the exhibition)

Vietnam: Mui Ne - day 2. Spent time on the beach and Lisa got a close up and personal visit from a beetle that we thought was dead.

Vietnam: Hoi An - day 3. After spending two days getting tailor made clothes and spending time with our lovely friends for the last time on this trip me and Anna did some sightseeing in this lovely town as well. In the evening we took the nightbus to Mui Ne, even though we got stuck in the mountains and Nha Trang first.

Vietnam: Hanoi - back in town. Spent the last day in Hanoi sightseeing with Anna and visiting the Ho Chi Minh museum. In the evening we took the night-train to Hoi An together with Lisa, Nikki, Brent, Kevin and Justin.

Vietnam: Halong Bay - day 3. Time to head back to Hanoi. It was cold upon the deck until the sun and blue skies came out for the first time in days.
It had been a wonderful trip, mostly thanks to Anna, Lisa, Nikki, Dominick, Tom, Dan, Kevin, Brent, Justin and the rest.
